I love Vintage!!
Why buy Vintage or preloved though? Well, for one thing you can usually find something a little different if you shop Vintage. I like a slightly unusual piece. I don't want what everyone else has. I like to create my own style. Vintage offers that.
Quality is another reason. We all know the the quality at a lot of the design houses has dropped. Chanel no longer use gold plated hardware but if you shop pre 2008 they do.
Now it's just gold toned.
The prices of most of these brands have gone through the roof. But Vintage, whilst still increasing is still far more affordable than new.
It's so much fun hunting down a bargain, and I absolutely love that it has some history. That bag or piece of clothing has lived a life....to me that is so intriguing.
This beautiful Louis Vuitton bag is from 2002. It is in near perfect condition, the epi leather has no damage or wear and it holds your essentials.
I love that a 22 year old bag looks like new and I will be able to use it for many more years to come.
