How long until I see results from my training or diet.?

How long is a piece of string?

There is no hard and fast answer for this. It varies. I can tell you consistency is key. But no one can say that you will see results in x amount of weeks because we are all different.

If you are training regularly i.e 3 or more times a week and eating well you will feel results pretty quickly, within a few weeks. Seeing results takes a bit longer.

Beginner gains is real. The people that have never hit the gym or changed their diet will see results initially faster because it is such a dramatic change for their body. Then it will level off a bit.

Those of us that go regularly will notice it can all slow down a bit but that doesn't mean you should give up if you feel like you have plateaued. Speak to a trainer and switch your programme up. If we do the same thing over and over then the body isn't being challenged so by switching it up a bit you will see the difference.

The same applies for diet. If you are trying to lose weight then you will of course need to reduce calories to an extent. Get some guidance on how to do this. Keep in mind though that what you need to eat when you start the journey will change as you lose weight. So again speak to someone that can help. Don't listen to the so called expert down the pub, speak to a trainer or nutrition coach and they can advise you professionally.

Remember, nothing worth doing is easy. You will need to stick to your new lifestyle forever. A lot of people do it until they reach their goals then go back to their old ways. That just means you will go back to your old body, and why do that when you have worked so hard to get your new body. With the right guidance, the gym doesn't need to be hell and your diet doesn't need to be miserable.

If you need some help with these goals get in touch .
