How hard do I need to train.?

As much as it would be great to not to have to work hard to achieve what we want in life, that isn't how life works.

As in anything, you get out what you put in. If you are at University, and attend occasionally, don't study much and put minimum effort in you won't get a first class honours degree.

The same applies with training. If you go to the gym once a week, have a half hearted workout and don't look at your diet then you really won't change anything.

You need to put some effort in. The cardio needs to make you sweat a bit. The weights need to be hard to lift. You need to attend regularly, and by regularly I mean a good 3 times a week at least.

You need to eat right 80% of the time. If you treat yourself all the time then it will stop you from progressing. Your body won't lose weight or fat if you are constantly over feeding it. If your goal is to gain muscle you still need to eat the right amounts.

We can all achieve the goals we want, I have seen many clients do it and it is always the ones that stick to the plan and follow the advice.

There are always people that want to reach the goals but are not willing to change what they do, but it isn't possible. They give up quickly, usually because they aren't getting anywhere, and that is usually because they aren't sticking to the plan.

We have to accept that in order to get where we want to get we have to do what we need to do.
