Don't let your portion sizes be your downfall.

Most of us don't realise what a portion size actually looks like. We eat far more than we really should be but think we are getting it right because we have portioned the food out. We may have looked at the labels and read that it has x amount of calories per portion but not actually calculated what a portion really is. So you might think you have the correct calories for your goals when you have actually just eaten enough for 3 people instead of one.

This image gives a handy visual of what a portion should look like.

Think about what your plate actually looks like when you have your meals and see if there is a lot of difference. If there is and you have been struggling with your weight then this might be why.
