Add a pop of colour.

I do advocate a lot of neutrals in your wardrobe as this makes it all so easy to mix and match. But if you only have creams and beige then it would get very boring. I absolutely have a few clothing items that are in colours. I don't have loads and I stick to the ones I love like a bright pink, cobalt blue or vivid red as I know they suit me and I feel good in them.

One of my favourite things to do with colour is add a pop of it. So you might have a black dress and shoes but add a red belt. Or a red bag. You could have a white dress and wear it with red shoes and bag. Or whatever colour you love. Camel and red look amazing. Or if you are bolder you can wear a colour with a pop of colour like a blue dress with a red belt for example.

If you are a bit nervous about wearing colour then adding a pop is a great "safe" way of doing it. A belt or bag for example won't be overwhelming on anyone. Even a really big bag won't look too much as it is just a bag. I also do this with things like animal print. I might not want to wear head to toe leopard print but a pair of shoes will look great.
